The Princes Town Regional Corporation (PTRC) is situated in the southern region of Trinidad, approximately 100 km from Port of Spain by road. As of the 2011 census, Princes Town is home to a population of 102,957, marking a notable increase of 10.2% from the 2000 census, when it stood at 91,947 residents. Encompassing an expansive area of 620 square kilometres and composed of fifty-six distinct communities, PTRC stands as one of the most extensive municipalities in Trinidad and Tobago.
