The National Workplace Policy on HIV and AIDS (NWP) provides the framework for action that sets out the national standards to be adhered to by all Employers, Employees, Employers’ representatives and Trade Unions. The policy promotes and outlines the mechanisms necessary for responding to HIV and AIDS in the workplace and emphasises the need for co-operation between employers and workers and their representatives.
